Manifesto of Dissent: A Cry Against the Present

We live in an era of glaring illusion, where humanity's moral compass has been lost in the noise of progress. While we have technologically arrived in the 21st century, ethically we remain stagnant in the darkest Middle Ages. It is a time I deeply despise, because it cultivates the worst in human nature instead of fostering the best. Envy and resentment rule everywhere, driven by a system that constantly suggests we are not enough. From this perpetual comparison grows a deep, paralyzing hatred that poisons the social climate and strips us of our ability to treat one another with empathy and dignity.

Particularly unbearable is the global awakening of a new, ruthless authoritarianism that sacrifices millions of lives for the egos of individual despots. I feel a profound contempt for figures like Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Benjamin Netanyahu, who act as the architects of suffering, division, and endless war. They weaponize fear, destroy democracies, and cold-bloodedly accept the deaths of innocent people just to secure or expand their own power. War is no longer a historical relic, but the bloody tool of unscrupulous egocentrics driving the world to the brink of the abyss while humanity watches on helplessly.

This destruction is flanked by the architects of our digital reality: the executives of the big tech corporations. These Silicon Valley magnates have turned our psychological weaknesses into a multi-billion dollar business. They control platforms that are deliberately programmed for addiction, division, and outrage, solely to optimize advertising revenue. Under the guise of "connectivity," these CEOs have created forums of hatred where algorithms prioritize lies over truth and incitement over discourse. They bear direct responsibility for the collective dumbing down and emotional brutalization of our society, all while hiding behind their billions and superficial philanthropy.

Ultimately, the inexcusable gap between obscene poverty and excessive wealth tears apart the final bond of our solidarity. It is intellectually and morally unjustifiable that a handful of privileged individuals own more than half of the world's population while children starve elsewhere. This global predatory capitalism rewards greed and punishes the honest. When wealth is declared a status symbol and poverty a personal failure, the system as a whole has failed. I refuse to accept this present world, which measures a person’s worth by their bank balance, and I demand a radical return to justice, reason, and humanity.

Because in the end, a sober look at reality reveals a fundamental truth: 99.9 percent of humanity are essentially the same—we share the same fears, the same hopes, and the universal desire for freedom and peace. No ordinary person longs for war. Very few Palestinians have a problem with the people in Israel, and very few Ukrainians hold a grudge against the Russian population. We are all human beings who want to live on the same earth. The true poison is not the peoples, but their rulers. It is the political elites and despots who create artificial enemy images, stoke nationalism, and plunge entire countries into the unspeakable suffering of war to enforce their own interests. The conflict does not lie between the people, but between humanity and those who rule them.
